    There is. I was already told I would receive a reciept and they are going after the pawn shop

    I would be in Cash America's ass a foot deep. I don't know the entire process, but our local pawn shop has to wait a certain amount of time before they can sell a gun that was taken in on pawn. I don't know if it would do any good, but I'd bug them until they did something about it.

    I have to ask the dumb question. Did you contact the pawn shop to see if they would work with you (i.e. reimburse you or give you store credit)?

    This. They're required to keep the 4473. It should be easy to prove you bought it.

    my dad ran one once and it came back clear then sold it about 4 years later that guy ran it and it came back stolen! needless to say the original gunstore made everything right... if you bought it from a pawn shop they keep records and should reimburse you.

    There is no arguing that I purchased it. The reciept is just for the restitution.

    I can dig that, but I don't have a time machine, so buying my 686-3 would have never happened if I had to buy new
