This is the first I've heard about this place. Looks to be opening in the summer. Will be nice to have a range close.

While its just $20 consider this they are charging more than the 'direct' and well established competition (bullettrap, dfwgunrange, and basspro) and all are within 20ish miles. There is also 3 member's only ranges within that 20 or so miles and another 2 outdoor ranges within 30 or so miles. Which means their member base is fairly diluted out of the box. Then add the fact that Lewisville isnt a 'wealthy' suburb. Which is why I said the price seems a little high and it doesnt seem like a way to pull in buisness.Originally posted by LS1Goat View Post$20 all day is cheap. and it's going to be a new facility.

There is also a Frisco gun range opening up which is suppose to be huge."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

neither of which will let you draw from a holster, rapid fire or shoot FMJ on the rifle range/tube. i used to go to bass pro a lot when i first started getting into handguns and the range fee was $5. for now, i'll continue to go to shoot smart, the staff is friendly, the rental guns are cheap and you can bring your own ammo to run in them.Originally posted by John -- '02 HAWK View PostPrice seems high

Im not sure what your point is, because this new range doesnt allow that ether.Originally posted by Fatass View Postneither of which will let you draw from a holster, rapid fire or shoot FMJ on the rifle range/tube.
"11. No muzzle loading firearms may be fired on the range. No fully automatic, tracer, armor piercing steel and military surplus ammo are allowed on the range.
12. No rapid fire, double tapping, or shooting a controlled pair allowed. Shot speed should be one round per second. No fast drawing is allowed.
13. Drawing from a holster is not allowed unless you are active duty police, security, or military participating in a training class or range-sanctioned event."
