Doesn't seem like a complete scam. Appears that someone was pre-selling to fund their operation.

You need the form 3, the ffl needs it before he can do the form 4. The reason people are wanting the serial in that thread is because they are from Louisiana and have a state specific form required up front.

They had debited my account on 6/1. Since I'm new to this, I started calling Jeff and SilentRX at the end of week 4. Jeff told me transfers could take up to 2 months. I can't remember if he said it might take longer. The lady on the phone told that me that it would take up to a year before I had it in hand. I know she was including the times we wait for ATF approval. I guess we just pre ordered and had our names added to a waiting list, that's what it seems like now.
An F3 transfer can't take place till the item is completed right? I was reading the link phaux posted and I think I might be wrong. Even if the suppressor is not completed, the serial number can be given out to start the paperwork right? I'm just confused as to why some people are trying to get a serial number is all. With this post by phaux, I'm not sure if I should continue to wait or reverse the charges now. I don't fucking know.

Some cards are within 30 days, you'll need to check with them I'm sure.Originally posted by GSXRK5 View PostI had been wondering about mine as well. I ordered with a credit card and have seen no weird charges as I check my account everyday. Can the charge be reversed if it's been months?

If you mailed them a check across state lines, and they won't refund it, or give you the product, isn't that mail fraud?Originally posted by phaux View PostCan't reverse a check
Edit: I suppose the deception would have to be premeditated.Last edited by YALE; 08-14-2012, 08:41 AM.

Soooo...Not sure how many people got in on this 'deal' but it's starting to look like this may have been a too good to be true type.
I ordered two of the suppressors from them and after not hearing from them for over a month and a half I tried calling and sending emails to no avail. The one phone they never answer(seems to be a google line) and I believe the other line is disconnected, every time I call it it says the person is not receiving calls.
Apparently everyone is having the same issues:
There was another forum that members were saying the same thing, though now I can't seem to find it.
Maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but no ones heard from them in some time now.

I had planned on picking up a billet lower until I seen this post. I have one of these cans on the way threw Jeff. It was too good of a deal to pass up.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostThe mere fact it's a serviceable can for $99 should seal the deal for anyone. If no one on here takes advantage of this sale they are a fool.
Which reminds me, I need to call Jeff. I haven't received a return E mail from him yet. I ordered one of these cans last Thursday, figured I would get a response from Jeff by now.Last edited by bigmuskie; 06-04-2012, 01:19 PM.

Thanks for y'alls suggestions. I like the idea of using a tumbler overnight though. Figured since I'll have to wait 6+ months for the dang thing
(sub I've for We've), might as well do what I can to take care of it.
