My choice was the bennellie nova. It's a badass piece. Smoothest action shotgun.

I'm torn on a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870. Ideally, I want to chamber 3" shells and have 7+ in the magazine.

Glad they got that little* issue sorted out.

*thousands of 930spx shotguns came with canted front sights, and Mossberg's solution was for you to send it back to them. Good shotguns otherwise.

Don't tell her to rack the slide audibly. A potential burglar not knowing you're armed is an advantage you don't want them to know about.

Some also say that it might scare off anyone near by and potentially avoid a confrontation all together.
