That being said having a .244" minimum is probably a good thing I'm sure there are a good bit of deer lost by people using .223's and not using tge proper bullet or shot placement.

I used a .300 Win Mag last year, and after damn near decapitating a doe, I bought a .308.

I shoot either a 30 tc, 338 win mag express, or my 223 ar.

I miss those days, we had a damn nice mature buck running around last year but was too close to risk a shot on.

In the 80's was when it was great around here. The dnr paid us to leave our crop out for food plots. Just checked my camera's. Had a couple non regular youngsters stop in to my feed spot.

nope not cwd. Prob was caught in a shed trap last year and deformed the skull. Any deer that was unhealthy here would have died long ago. They all look skinny, but have been putting on some weight since the grass greened back up

I get freaking 1800 pics a day of the same 4 does, and my family of 10-12 coons, and the turkeys.

I really need to get a solar panel. Killing some aa's. No more pics of any bucks, but they are around.

Don't worry I feel your pain, almost all of my pics from this last week were pigs and then a solid day of cattle. I'm hoping the pigs will stay consistent on schedule I need to try some bullets out or practice with the bow.

New buck on cam. They should start showing up soon and making their rubs/scrapes.

Horns should just about be done growing down here and getting pretty close to scraping.

Another new buck on cam this year. I've got picture of this one from last year. He will be a neat one in a couple more years.

I just like how narrow the spread is and the height he is getting for his age.
