As far as i know they freeb from jan-march. Litters are born late april may.
Never heard of them breeding more than once a year.
Coyotes are really not pack animals. Maybe down south, but they are rarely seen in groups more than 3. Most of the time its a male and female pair. As they will pair up for life if they can.

And then rabbits will devour everything. It's surprising what a simple change like that will make, but I'd still kill them.Originally posted by BlackSnake View PostYeah, I need to work on them pretty badly. They are starting to really grow in numbers. I have read that the more you kill, the faster they will breed to keep their packs in numbers. So the key is to aim for the femals all you can. They can have up to 2 litters a year.sigpic18 F150 Supercrew - daily

They are definitely in packs down here, and you can use calls (electronics) for so long till they wise up to them. Which doesn't take very long. Usually you will have a scout that alerts the rest of the pack to food, predators, etc. I have a pretty large pack that just happens to reside in a area a few hundred yards from one of my feeders.Originally posted by Sleeper View PostAs far as i know they freeb from jan-march. Im really not sure, but a 20 aint enough for me to mess with.Originally posted by Sleeper View PostIf you get 50 bucks your doing better than 99% of the rest of the united states. We get about 20 bucks for a good fluffy coyote.Last edited by BlackSnake; 12-11-2012, 03:39 PM.
