Bob hit up public hunting area's if no private ground is available.

Went out tonight and it took a hour and a half to limit, but the wind is gusting 40mph.

They would get to me and i almost felt bad they where like shooting still targets.

HAHAHA! My bro in law said they usually go to the city lake in Kaufman. I may try and find some other public land too.

Anyone east of D/FW going this weekend? I am off this weekend and my son and I are looking to go, but have no where to hunt this weekend.

Went out tonight finally and cleaned up. I was limited out within a half hour haha. The birds are small up here compared to the nice big birds posted above.

Alex, Phaux, and I ended up with 60+ birds from this weekend. Bird hunting was the best I can remember.

Nice. I heard someone shooting on my land and went to see who it was. I got a few minutes behind his gun and put two down. Going out tomorrow night damnit.

Im ready for some dove. Got the vacuum sealer ready.

I went on my first hunt Thursday and had fun. There were not a ton flying around us, but I got 2 birds. I hit those 2 right off the bat and thought "Man this ain't too bad!" Well those bastards blanked me for the rest fo the night! Then to top it off when we were leaving my brother in laws dog ate them while no one was looking! I am hooked!

My hunting buddy decided to go solo this weekend to the lease. He hit his daily limit every day and hit his bag limit. Also, he got 2 hogs while dove hunting. First one he got with his AR15 when a group of 30 or so wandered into the field. The next one he got with his 10mm from 150 yards - I'd like to see a 9mm do that!

I'm patiently loading .300BLK ammo.

We did pretty good Saturday evening. Our group of 5 shooters picked up 60 birds. Heading out to Coleman this weekend for another hunt.

Went out several times on Saturday and didn't see many at all within shooting range. The only one I hit had the wing clipped but managed to get away. My buddy got 2. All were mourning dove.
