    acog ?

    Just when i thought this was going to be a cheap build. I had a last minute change in plans. I want an acog,

    Only turnoff is i was told that radioactive shit in it. Is only good for about ten years?

    I thought it used a fiber optic sight right on the front that piped it into the scope.

    And, have fun paying for a acog...good grief they are stupid expensive.

      No clue on life length, but 10 years is more than enough for me. In 10 years I'll have something else.

      But I love the shit out of my ACOG.

      Also look used as there is many a good deal on them for almost brand new scopes.

        If it does indeed use tritium, vials aren't that expensive and are available online.

          The newer ones use fiber optic and tritium. I see some good deals on ebay now and then on used acogs. But don't wanna by one neer The end of it's life.

          Fiber optics is for day. And at night the tritium takes over?

                      I do know that Trijicon makes non tritium powered acogs that use lithium batteries instead, these are used by euro forces so I am not sure you might find them for sale here in the good ol USA.
                      First hand witness at the failure of public healthcare.
