That's a good deal, I must have missed that. That's the price I tell people 10/22's can be had for but they dismiss it as heresy. I paid $199 for my stainless about 5 years ago. I remember Mr. Fiux paid I believe $159.99 for his base model, so deals are still out there.

I bought it at academy and it wasn't on sale, that was just the daily price. If I had to do it over again, I would just buy a base model because they just paint the damn things now. I ended up basically rebuilding/refinishing the whole thing to make it what stainless should have been.

I wouldnt call it total shit, but I didn't like the fit and finish of the ones I looked at when I was shopping for an over/under. The mechanics seemed to be rough. I ended up with a yildez or however it's spelled from academy.
