      I wouldn't worry so much about modifying the trigger, save your money and buy some ammo and I good belt and holster to carry it in. Even for a home defense gun I would still recommend a good belt and holster that way you can leave your hands free but still have quick access to your gun. I would also recommend a good weapon mounted light as well.

          man i would never recommend a trigger job for something like this. If you can't get the trigger to 8 oz (safely) then it isn't a target gun. Not that you would go that light, but if 8 oz sounds like fantasy then you aren't on the right platform.
