I took a hi point 40 cal on partial trade in a 4 wheeler deal last week, bulky and cheap, but it's simple by design, shot well, easy to maintain, and came with 145 rounds of ammo. Would i replace my Sig 45 with it, or my cheap tauras milleniun pro 9mm, no but they appear to be a good cheap gun.

Id say just go used. I got my gen2 glock 17 for 285 bucks. Sigmas just have a hard ass trigger. That can be fixed by removing a couple springs. Rivers are tanks. Can't go wrong. Hipoint aren't bad for what you pay. I've shot them all and have no problem with getting another hipointOriginally posted by Yale View PostYou'd better not buy a Sigma, fool! Or a Hi-Point! Get a trade in Glock, at a minimum.Non tapatalk Sig so the butt hurt va-JJs can stop crying about not being able to turn it off.

I bought a Sigma .40 from BP like 4 years ago and haven't had a single problem with it at all. Shoots great...
