So.... I'm thinking organize a table across the street offering to buy back pistols for $100 and rifles for $250. Granted you'll end up with a few stolen ones which you turn right in and I think you've just increased your collection by a whole lot for a whole little.

I have always wondered this. If I'm not mistaken it's completely legal to do a FTF transaction in public, however (correct me if I'm wrong) a pistol you can't have out in the open, so they might get you in a technicality there. Either way you are undermining the point of the buy back. They would probably run you off, you couldn't be on their property for sure. If you were an FFL or curator of a museum of firearms or something I bet you could get away with it for a while. I've always wanted to do this.

Because it's all funded by anti-gun interests and backers. Most manufacturers will send you a free trigger lock if you ask for it.
