It isn't. They basically took a piece of aluminum, threaded it for a standard pitch (like 1/2x28) and then have an adapter to a standard oil filter thread. It's registered as a suppressor and you have to file a form 4 for it. Which to me, $300 to have a suppressor which is just an oil filter, which doesn't suppress shit and you can't aim any gun it's on is pretty stupid. I've heard an oil filter suppressor, it's loud as hell. It literally does nothing.
