Went out Sunday afternoon and shoot some clays with a couple buddies and my girlfriend. I generally being 2 or 3 shotguns; Mossberg 9200 12 gauge, Ithaca Featherlight 12 gauge, and a Remington 1100 with synthetic stock and 10 round extended. Susan likes the Remington because of the pistol grip, I'll shoot any of them, but enjoy the Ithaca. This time out I decided to bring my home gun, a Ward's Western Field that my dad cut down for me years ago and I finished and accessorized to my likeling. We like them because they slam fire like an Ithaca will. I also dug out a Marlin Model 120 because I've been looking at the barrel sitting next to complete shotguns almost matching in length. The Marlin sports a 40" barrel and I knew my buddies would get a kick out of it. It did shoot well. Below is a pic of my friend holding the Marlin and my Wards for comparison, myself holding the Marlin and a couple pics from previous outings.
