I'm still looking for a place that carriers a good stock of barrels. Not sure how far behind Nodak is on retro lowers. I paid $500 for my kit from MGS with a brand new green mountain barrel about 4 years ago. So that's not too bad. These kits are drying up, you only need a handful every year. I have people offering me $1,500-2,000 for my M16A1 regularly. It's a good kit to build. And the gun is great.
