Yeah, I have 3 Model 60's but only one 10/22. I should have bought more of them. I bought one of the later model stainless 10/22's which had the shitty plastic FCG and painted receiver. I ended up refinishing the receiver and replacing it with a metal FCG so it looks proper now. A lot of work but it's a good gun. I have the barrel out getting threaded now. I was going to do a tac sol barrel like yours, but it just didn't make sense for the money, the damn barrel is more than the whole gun. the VQ is extended compared to the stock config. I like the way the VQ mag release works. Not sure I would want one like that. Although I've never handled one.Comment

I bought a LW-15 striped lower and a complete lower from http://www.dfwshoots.com and had zero issues. It was a very smooth process.

I wanted to save on shipping so I drove to his place to pick it up. You'll be in and out in 5 minutes. I stayed and shot the shit with him for 10-15 min. He's a good guy to deal with and I don't mind giving kudos to people who deserve it.Comment
