    I usually use 7 1/2's but I've been using 8's for my sporting clays and skeet shooting so it's what is on hand.

        That's kinda what I figure but these birds are big. I'm gonna try going tighter on the choke before pulling the 12 out.

            Cause I'm not going to take a beating if it isn't needed. The only 12 I have anymore isn't shoulder friendly.

                lmao. One of my favorite bird guns ive shot is a cousins beretta over under 20g.

                I dont know the model number, but i always bring a box of shells at thanksgiving so i can shoot it at our yearly shoot.

                        I can load my 20 gauge just a touch cheaper than the 12 thanks to the savings in powder but it takes a lot to gain much.

                        A good friend only uses a 28ga or a 410 to hunt dove with. Another guy we hunt with uses one of the lightest and prettiest Bennelli 28 gauge semi's I've ever seen.
