I prefer the mil spec aluminum junk myself..... I have 3 now. I may need a few more just because.

I picked up two of those lowers from Jeff (livetoshoot) when he bought a bundle of them and offered them up to us for $50-60 (can't remember). Thought I would give one a try. Maybe turn it into a poly lower/upper .22lr SBR (10"-14") for my daughter one day.

I had to do a little sanding on mine to make it mate with the upper better, A little on the mag well because it wouldn't accept Gen 3 P-Mags with "Windows" but it accepted Gen 2 and Gen 3 non windows with out a problem. Also had to removal material on the upper part where the buffer tube screws into because the charging handle wouldn't clear it. Besides that I have no complaints but this is also my first and only Lower that I have.

No I didn't. I think three ARs should be enough. My wife differs but I think I need an AK too.... just to have one.

She tried to convince me that I don't need night vision, but what does she know? I don't get to pick when the terrorists attack; I just need to be ready.

I bought one of the lowers but haven't done anything with it.. At this point, if I end up building it it will probably be the base for a lightweight, stripped down build.
