Please see attached Recall Notice:
If you received 5.56mm/62 Grain Ammunition between 2/1 and 4/1 please check to see if your order has the following Lot # on the tray, not on the box.
Please see attached photo for example:
This is Not the Lot Number this is the bar code.
This is the Lot Number located on the tray holding the ammunition.
PRODUCT WARNING AND RECALL NOTICE
BlackGun Ammo LLC is recalling one (1) lot of 5.56mm 62gr Remanufactured Ammunition. This lot was shipped approximately between the dates of 2-1-13 and 3-1-13.
BlackGun Ammo LLC ballisticians, after extensive evaluation, have determined that some cartridges from Lot # MJC13B581-004 may exhibit dropped primers and excessive chamber pressures. Use of this product may result in firearm damage and or personal injury.
DO NOT USE BLACKGUN AMMO 5.56mm 62gr Remanufactured Lot # MJC13B581-004.
The lot number can be found printed on a label on the 50 round tray.
THIS NOTICE ONLY APPLIES TO LOT # MJC13B581-004.
If you own this Lot # or have any questions regarding this recall, please call 866.855.2842 or write to BGA, PO Box 191, Blue Springs, MO 64013 or email info@blackgunindustries.com. BlackGun Ammo LLC will make all arrangements associated with this return and replacement of the product.
OTHER LOT NUMBERS OR ITEM NUMBERS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THIS RECALL AND REQUIRE NO ACTION.
