Best advice is to try out different styles of carry and see what you like and damn the rest.
    Exactly!

You and I must draw firearms from a holster completely different. Not once have I ever pointed my pistol at myself when drawing from one of my holsters.

Nice buy, I hope you like it.

I'm not sure if they make a single sided or slimmed down slide catch/decocker that will fit the compact. I would check out http://www.berettaforum.net/ and browse around or just post up and ask. Lots of guys switch them out but most of what I read is about the full size version, which is what I currently have.

Well for me anyway I'd have to make sure I'm wearing a longer shirt because even squatting would sometimes still show. Either way, 3'oclock carry doesn't have to worry about that. Never really like SOB carry and it was a short lived experiment for me.

Shirts in size XLT are your friend. They're cut longer.

My draw motion is the same as if I were carrying at 3 o clock, just with a bit extra movement. I can see how someone might sweep other people, but not myself.

I carry my taurus .45 (about the same size as your storm) at 4oclock iwb. No issues with concealment, but it is a bit bulky and uncomfortable at times. I am downsizing to a sub-compact 9mm. I just bought a sccy 9mm and if its worth a shit it will be my new carry and the .45 will stay in the jeep.

Muzzle sweep - keep your finger off the bang switch till you are ready to fire. Also train how to properly draw.

While it is slightly easier to disarm someone carrying SOB it really isn't a factor. If a CHL holder is going to use their firearm chances are it will be some thug getting fired at. It isn't like you are Jack Bauer being taken hostage by the terrorists.

Yea, I'll discuss that with my friends on Saturday. Several of them already carry.

May have to change how you dress a bit depending on your current style.
