We carry Sig P220. Its okay. I own a S&W M&P 45, and I replaced the trigger with an Apex tactical duty carry trigger. If I could carry my own, it would be that gun.

Plus if you send Buds your creds, and get on their police supply site, the M&Ps are 399 for the base model with 3 mags. That is a good deal and applies to all calibers. Hard to beat that deal for such a great weapon.

And by base model, I mean no night sights. If you opt for night sights then the price is 455 I believe.

I had an FNP-9 and I hated it. It was clunky as hell and seem to have a loose slide that would rattle around. If the FNP-45 is built the same way I would stay away from it personally. I traded the 9 for a glock 21 and do not regret it in the least.

Weird. My FNP-9 is rock solid. I've a couple thousand rounds through it (actually probably more), including wadcutters and some seriously hot "Glock only" loads. No issues to speak of. Probably my favorite handgun in my collection. It's the only handgun I have that I can totally destroy the "El Presedente" drill with.

Danny is correct. I HATED the 226. With a passion. My last dept issued those turds (without the rails... cheapasses)... It is not made for the left handed shooter. I love the look but couldn't get past the ergos. As for revolvers, negative. Only for back up.

Dohcter, we use to issue berreta 92's about 3 years ago. Then went to the glock 31's...

I love my 35 and would love that 41 but who knows what that hits the shelf. I was just looking at other avenues and gathering ur opinions.
