    Welcome to the club and you will love your MKIII. I thought something was wrong with mine the other day it had repeated light strikes and failure to extract malfunctions. However then I remembered it had probably been 5,000 plus rounds since its last cleaning. Well, I cleaned it and now it functions flawlessly.

    MSRP is $450 on Ruger MKIII lite's if I'm not mistaken. I ended up paying that for mine, but they were just released and you couldn't find them anywhere. Now that the scare has died down, I bet you could find one for around $350 or so. I'm not the best to ask.

    I just don't care for the trigger on my MKII, maybe I need to get a trigger job on it. Is the MKIII trigger any better right out of the box?

    I have a smith model 41 Olympic match, arguably one of the most accurate pistols made, and the mkIII lite is right there. Really a great gun.
