Yeah I know its my ugly mug. I guess that I should have added the photo to my first post. The reason I like my MKIII so much is that I shoot about 500 rounds a week out of it.

Absolutely. I just ordered a case of gemtech subsonic ammo so after that gets delivered and I come back to TX I'll give you a shout.

Subsonic isn't necessary when shooting a pistol. All bulk pack is subsonic out of both my M&P22 and my Mark III. Lately I have been tearing through CCI Blazer.

You are correct! I'm interested in getting a Sparrow, but I'm not sure the performance warrants the extra $100 over the Spectre II.

MSRP is $450 on Ruger MKIII lite's if I'm not mistaken. I ended up paying that for mine, but they were just released and you couldn't find them anywhere. Now that the scare has died down, I bet you could find one for around $350 or so. I'm not the best to ask.

I paid $360 for mine locally at grabagun.com in February. $350-$370 seems to be a good deal.
