Or you could carry a much better knife and treat it properly.

LMFAO@ the SOG = china junk tag. Sure, if you are a cheap bitch and buy the crappy ones they suck. But pony up for one of the Japanese made blades and you can't do much better.

I like my little Collection I'm just starting.

    Top to bottom.
    •Spyderco DragonFly II, VG-10 steel.

    •SOG Mini Aegis, Aus-8 steel.

    •Benchmade bone collector, D2 steel.

    • Benchmade 940, S30v steel.

    I love em all.

I wish benchamade did more alum scales vs plastic.

I have a hard time buying even the griptillian. It feels like one of those small 99 cent grab bag knives. The blades are awesome, and you can buy aftermarket scales, but man.

Ill say it again my all time favorite edc is a kershaw ram 1910ckt. Holds a edge forever and gets sharper than any other knife i own. The s30v on the kershaws chips to easy imho.

I have a Kershaw Volt II with the same blade material. It's held it's edge well over the last ~1 year and I've cut zipties, plastic straps, boxes, rope, etc with it.

my next knife will be a Benchmade auto with the axis lock. I love my push button autos, but the ambidextrous axis is bad ass
