I am pretty sure that gong is 8".

My 10/22 will shoot a dime sized group at 50 yards. It's got a lot of shit done to it, though.

Many 22 rifles are extremely picky about ammo. A third of the battle is to find ammo that it likes, then the rest is a true test of your shooting skill.

I concur, but at 50 yards, I would put my 10/22 up against most bolt action centerfire rifles. But I also don't have your run of the mill 10/22 or or use run of the mill .22 ammo

Even with bulk my 10/22 will put it through the same hole every time @ 50.
