I would definitely recommend a trigger upgrade and a stock. The Hogue stocks are horribly flexible which yeilds accuracy issues if you aren't careful.

It should serve you well. I never dialed or tested tracking on the one I played with but several people use them as an entry level scope with good results.

Well, I'm not looking for the cream of the crop, but for the features and cost, it seems inline for what i want.

Anybody with any experience with this brand? I'm reading good reviews on it:

I'd definitely replace the trigger but I personally like light pull weight triggers. Another scope that is great in your range is the Bushnell Elite series. I go for them before most others.

I would spend money on ammo and trigger time before I would start upgrading your rifle.
Definitely. Scope now-ish and a bipod later this year and I'm done with it for a while.

Like I said, dabbling at precision. I didn't check price difference between FFP and SFP, so that might make the decision easier!

You can get a fixed power cheap and I believe weaver makes a ffp pretty cheap. I don't think I would like ffp hunting but you might.

X2. Expect to spend a grand on it, minimum.
