What will you do now? Come on random message boards and call people dumb and pussies for not wanting to show off their firearms. To imply that open carry is superior to concealed carry is moronic. I agree that open carry should be legal and that there is a time and place for it, but your group is far to extreme about it. Turn it down a notch or 8 and you will still get the publicity you so desperately need without all the negative press you've been getting.

Also, I understand your need for a leader that is gung ho but a leader that isn't a convicted thief would make people take OC Texas much more seriously.

You really think it's time to pat yourselves on the back now? I'll give you credit for getting the ball rolling, but once you guys got a little attention, you basically squandered every ounce of political capital at your disposal. OC-Tarrant County is even worse. You braying jackasses don't understand that other people are in this with you, and even people that hate guns are stakeholders in the political process. You don't have to make those people love guns. You just have to show them that you can be trusted to act rationally. Ambushing soccer moms in the grocery store and being belligerent with the police is not a viable long term strategy. It doesn't make the voting public "desensitized," or "familiar" to or with the open carry movement. It makes them more uncomfortable, so they call their state reps, and these bills get hung up in the works longer than they have to. You want to talk viable long term strategy? You want to strategize to get more public support? I'm all for both of those, and will help as soon as you show you are willing to be on that path with those of us that are actually engaged in the political process. Until then, don't act like the only ones entitled to free speech and self-defense are those that agree exactly with your platform.
