You still dont get it. There wont be any fish and game to catch. The food shortage will drive everybody to hunt and fish. The game thats not killed will scared away by the amount of hunters and survivalist evacuees moving through the country side. And gardens dont start producing in just days, and not to mention it has to be the right season to get a garden to grow.

You must have missed the part where I said stock up on Mountain valley foods. Just fyi, some of those foods are good for 25 years. If you can't get a garden going after having stocked up on food that will last 25 years, you don't deserve to live.

This. I guess john doesn't understand that grasshoppers can be cooked and eaten if the situation warrants it. Fucking sparrows can be shot and cooked. I will probably constantly troll any ill conceived bug out posts. If its a well conceived plan/post I may ask some questions. But, most threads like this one are just self gratifying pipe dreams that serve no real purpose. Especially when they dont take into account the reality of the situation.

Yes...in a shtf situation, you will waltz up to a stone house and circular saw your way in to take supplies.

1 - you've got no electricity
2 - are you stupid enough to think anyone with guns, ammo and food will just let this happen instead of making swiss cheese out of you
3 - you're out of food and water, but you've got enough energy to saw yourself through a damn house.

You're trying to claim people have I'll conceived shtf plans, but your plan consists of:

1) wasting ammo on people fleeing town, killing them for no reason
2) trying to gun down anyone with tactical gear and weapons
3) circular sawing your way into a house and somehow not only finding electricity, but also succeeding without being shot.

Well your freeze dried foods are a good start. Wait out the first several weeks just on your supplies. Also rice and other dried grains/seeds would be great to stock...quinoa, lentils, etc. And I use mountain house for camping and just eat it every now and then...that stuff is actually quite good.

Gardening is easy as well, and learn to preserve. Its pretty easy and will keep waste to a minimum. But I doubt that could be a sole source of food.

But I think the best thing you can do is stay put if you've got your own supplies and shit. Last thing id want to do is carry everything around and be in an unknown area.

Maybe you haven't read my posts, if the dfw has to evacuate everybody is dieing. There isn't any contingency plans where you evacuate 6.5 million people. The only amount of time I have spent prepping is for a 3 day freeze in, spending anymore time than that isnt realistically looking at the odds of any events happening and the likelihood of survival.

as for entry into your house a cordless circular saw can be charged from any generator or car. The house is then approached around 4am from the corner where the dryer outlet is placed, a piece of rubber is stuffed into the outlet and lit on fire. While you are dealing with that one of my minions is climbing on the roof and cutting through the roof. have fun fighting of my band of radioactive mutant zombie bikers that then crash through your ceiling.
