I needed a bunch of cheap 1911s once and bought 10 of the stainless models that Taurus makes and every one of them has been perfect. I still have 2 I believe and still like them.

There is no one upping anything; they just functioned as they should. That I can think of at the moment they are also the only Taurus hand guns that I have ever owned and I have never understood the bashing that the company gets.

One upping in this case would have been me talking about the time my HK blew up and killed my dog AND cat at the same time while seriously wounding my mother who was in the kitchen making me a sandwich.

It's cool for the gun elitists to talk shit. Tuarus is an easy target, though generally they will all admit that they arent horrible, just that there have been documented issues. It's not like they are the only manufacturer to have recalls.
