  • Springfield XD-S .45acp...anyone got one?

Found a good deal on one that's had the recall work done...comes with 2 standard mags, extended mag and case.

my current daily CCW is a Shield 40, and for lightweight carry a .380 acp
Is the XD-s a good gun?

I liked mine. I just didn't carry it much so dad has it now.

I'd rather have one in 9mm.

It's a great gun if you like carrying a semi. After toting mine 2 years I should have went with a bobbed 360pd.

Not a fan of obtrusive slide corners, weight, and the round count isn't any greater. Oh and I don't want chambered semi pointed at my body.

Took it to the range yesterday and put a couple boxes of target thru it. Damn this gun shoots good. I'm more accurate with tighter groups using this .45 than I was with my Shield 40. Very impressed. Also...the back of the slide caught the top of my thumb when I was left hand shooting. DAMN THAT SHIT HURT!!!!!!!! Bled like crazy too. I like this gun!!!
