Are there any other places to get the stock sets cheap? I don't want to buy them for $50-$60 if I can avoid it.

Sorry, I didn't notice the sold out part. They have been in and out. I missed them when the link was first posted. They have been back in stock at least once since it was originally posted, as I got mine from a later shipment

I just picked up a CTD 6 position stock and I really like it. Very solid feeling. Has "Made in USA" in white letters on buffer tube so when you expand the stock, it's very prominent.

Oh and while I was camping over the weekend:



Very pleased with the builds. Took me about an hour the first time, then the other two went like clockwork.

A quick update on the remaining lowers. According to Surplus Ammo they are hoping to ship them on Wednesday. I will update everyone once I get confirmation they have shipped.

I would have, but CTD sold me the wrong wrench. I asked him "this is to tighten a castle nut right?" and he nodded yes.

So much for that, getting the correct wrench tonight and will get it all tight and be done with it.

I am thinking Duracoating mine, just have not decided yet.
