  • Combative 2-gun class @ ETTS Sat 11/5

    ETTS is having a Combative 2-gun class this Sat, 11/5. Should be 3 slots left, looks like fun. $200 for members of ETTS, $250 for non-members.

    Sessions begin at 0900 and end at 1600 tentative

    We ask that shooters have prior knowledge and skill with their primary and secondary weapon system and have no prior health conditions that would hinder physical performance.

    2-Gun Combat Mindset
    Advanced mindset for Home/Self Defense Mindset
    --Required Gear--
    Rifle w/Sling
    Handgun w/ Holster
    2+ Magazines per weapon system
    Magazine carriers OR plate carrier/chest rack
    250 rounds per weapon system
    --Day Topics--
    Gear and equipment set up and selection
    Advanced pistol fundamentals
    Advanced rifle fundamentals
    Use of cover and terrain
    Bounding movements
    Speed and accuracy drills
    Alternate shooting positions
    CQC fundamentals
    Transition between weapon systems
    Support hand weapon manipulations
    Advanced malfunctions clearance
    Induced malfunctions
    Multiple target engagements and selection
    Speed and Violence of Action Mentality

    dang it... I'd be down for this except I'm already signed up for the Sunday USPSA match and the wife wouldn't appreciate two full days away. Let me know about the next one though!
