Hmm... how small are these amounts? How much can you actually add, without ever having to and dechlor? And what happens to the chlorine? I guess it doesn't build up somehow, although it seems like it could.

Its is a refrigerator size line and it runs a little all the time. Chlorine in water naturally evaporates with time and agitation and affects nothing. Hell before I added the auto filler I used to put two to four inches in at a time if I forgot over the week. My system moves about 3000 gallons a hour and the pond is around 1100 gallons or so. Small by pond standards. In the summer the lily pads cover the entire top almost. I trim them back so my wife can see the fish some.
