After shooting the Shilen 700 and my buddies GAP's the stock guns just don't feel right.

Oh im all for doing it myself, I assumed blueprinting was done on a lathe. I'll look around on the hide and see what I can find, I might need to bounce some questions off you when the time comes if that's alright.

How would you rate the difficulty of doing this?

Edit: CJ, do you ever do anything like that for other people? Ive got a Rem. 700 that I think needs to be blueprinted. Ive seen the other work you do and it is top notch.

I actually sent a bolt out to another vendor on the Hide to have a knob installed, the bolt handle secured and bolt fluted and bolt fluted. The vendor had my bolt for three months and only installed the knob and secured the handle.

All the bolts I've sent to Long Rifles have been done and back to me in a week for less money and the work & customer service has been excellent.

I'm gonna buy another 700 just so I can have him do another one.

I prefer to do my own actions. Not a bad price for bolt work.

Hmm, Rich what is the regular rate for this? Thinking I should do it on my Rem 600.

Just got two more bolts done by Long Rifles Inc. Had them do a bolt knob on the long action bolt as I didn't already have a badger on it.

    no doubt he's spoiled.
kid might not have shit for work ethic getting everything he wants, but the fuck if he can't shoot great!
j/k man. that's cool you teach the kid shooting skills, more power to you!
