I made him an offer for all the .223 and .44. I left the .308 alone. I figure you might as well e-mail him your offers and let him think about it. It'll be a lot harder to say no to 3-4 guys than to just one.

Yeah, forget the primers - that's something you really only want to buy local. Unless you're buying powder and primer together in large quantities, you usually can't justify it.

I didn't do my math quite right, he has a hell of a lot more projectiles than I had calculated, so I'm only going to make offers on the .223. .308 bullets are expensive. I gave him a ring but got voicemail. Left him a message. Hopefully he can work with us. He *might* get someone to buy all the projectiles, but I doubt it for that kind of money. We might have to wait it out.

Yea, unless a gun show dealer buys the whole lot I think he will have to part it out, and it seems as if he wants it out of the way.....

correct. I doubt he'll let pretty much all his rifle go for $300 bucks. I know I'm low on the .223/.308 - but quantity is all that matters to me, I buy in bulk - I can't help that he overpaid for fancy shit. I'll make him the offer for $250 on the .223/.308 and .44mag, you send him the offer for the remainder of the rifles - that's $350 total and he has all the powder and primers yet to sell.

I'd go $150 on the .458/.277/6.8 and the .40 pistol bullets....
