Down and dirty of my rifle build.

7mm Rem. SAUM
Montana Rifle Company 1999 S/S Short Action Magnum Bolt face
Bartlein S/S #3 contour 26" give or take
Manners MCS-EH2 stock

Hopefully I'll get the reamer and gauges on order soon and head to my dad's to get the barrel chambered and set the head space. Then I can order the Manners stock since they will do custom inletting based on your finished barrel dimensions.

I'll post pics once everything starts getting assembled.

Twisted to run heavies?

1-9" so should handle 180's

Yeah it should but it might not be able to stabilize the new 195 when it is released.

I doubt I'll ever push anything over 180's. I figure most of my loads will be 168's but I'll try out 180's for sure.

Being a short action the lighter stuff will likely work best. I have had really good luck with Amax and 168 MK. The Sierea actually have a higher bc than what they are listed at which is nice.

Tick tock tick tock.....waiting on the reamer and gauge to get here from Midway. Dropped some cash on a Vortex Razor HD today as well (Euro Optics is clearancing them out).....that hurt my wallet.
