I'll have to take a look at their other reticle. I've been eyeballing the Bushnell Elite Tactical DMRG2 for competition purposes.

I'm a big Bushnell Elite fan. I think the regular Elite and Elite Tac are a great value in glass. I was going to get that exact scope until the Razor got offered up. Only downside to the dmr is no zero stop.

I feel like its just bored gun owners. They're dying to do something to or with their firearm and stippling is a free way to satisfy that desire. The "added grip" is just a way to justify it. Its pretty terrible looking most of the time.

I agree, most of it looks like crap and I've tested it and didn't feel like it added much grip. I've also never had a problem with slippery guns, even with gloves on.

When done wrong it does nothing and when done right, there's an added benefit, in my opinion. Done correctly you have the same feel of skateboard tape and it's no different than getting a 1911 with checkering or stippling on the front and rear part of the frame. It serves a purpose. I see a lot of DIY jobs where they use a soldering iron and the tip they use is too big, which renders the burn less grppy.
