        I don't know how anyone makes a .22 conversion work without a forward assist. It may just be the sheer volume of rounds I shoot. After about 200 rounds they usually will no longer strip a round off the mag, and I have to use a forward assist to set the bolt far enough forward to reset the auto sear. After 350 or so rounds you absolutely have to use the forward assist every time for the first round.

          I took mine out again last weekend and put 400+ through it without issue. I am sure getting one to run full auto complicates things.

          Edit: Does yours have a functional bolt catch?
