          Its a Roth Steyr:



          The end cap is essential to the operation of the pistol.                               I didn't watch the video, but was it the 1949 version? Only 36 I ever saw had the weirdly bent bolt handle.

                              Edit: just watched the video and did a little googling. That's gotta be the 49 semi auto. Nice bayonet work by the way. Thanks for making me think that I need another surplus rifle.

                                Nope, it was the 36 bolt action. The 49 is a semi automatic rifle.
