Extractor springs and extractors need to be swapped out every now and then. I put an 18.5 lbs recoil spring into every 9mm HP that I get. I like to change the hammer spring too but it is a pain in the butt. If you get a Cylinder & Slide extractor it will last forever. I also like to take out the mag safety.

You don't understand. I have pistols in cases stacked against the walls and my 1/2 bathroom/dog water bowl is crammed with long guns because the closets are all full and the 4 safes that I have here are stuffed and there is no more damn room.

I have a HP just like what you are describing and you are welcome to test it; it has a factory barrel though. It is a later one that just has FN markings on it and doesn't say Browning anywhere.

My wife loves her CZ too. It's hard for me to even get time with it to enjoy for myself. I still prefer a nicely done 1911. It's just a shame 1911s don't have the capacity of the CZ. The CZ is so much better than the 92FS, it's impossible for me to understand why the military selected the 92FS. The CZ meets all the same requirements but does it all so much better.

For 9mm I really like my P229 with the SRT in SA mode. I can hit targets well with the first round in DA, but I don't really enjoy it.
