Thought I'd post some quick pics of the cerakote job done on my Kimber and some new grips I put on both of my 1911's.
Before pics of the Kimber. Not the greatest as they were rushed.

And the after pictures. I added some Tru Glo TFX Pro sights to it while it was being coated. Absolutely fantastic sights and my first experience with fiber optic sights on a pistol (have some on the front of a shotgun but never really shot it). And I moved over the VZ Grips I had on my Springer after selling a different set of VZ's I had on it.

And I added some Mapgul grips to my Springfield Armory Lightweight Champion Operator. I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked how they looked on Yale's Ruger and figured for $20 it was worth a try. I like them, texture feels pretty good, not to rough and not to smooth. I might pick up another set in the different texture they offer and in a different color.
