All you need is a phone book to test it out with.

    • mine is a little heavier on the front since I'm using a silencerco sparrow, but overall the balance is great on my lite as well. Must get fastfire.

Also known as heavy, overpriced and less accurate as the M110.

Uhm, not really. Cost aside, M110 was not around when the Army converted M1's they already had. They needed a easy to mass produce DM rifle and that is what happened. The M110 came afterwards through government contracting.

Less accurate? I have never shot a M110 but I have shot the EBR. I found the accuracy of the EBR out to 750m to be just fine for a semi auto.

                  Heavy? Yes

                  • Considering they were still purchasing NM m1a's until the last few years they are a bit overpriced. Around 1500 for rifle plus another 800 for the chassis system and all you get is a 1moa rifle if your lucky .5-.75 inside 400. M110 is 2000-2500 and is consistent .5 MOA to 800.

The old stock first issued m1a's were pretty impressive in that they were true match rifles with the best re-armoured parts which is nowhere near cheap in parts or labor but they perform very well.

Sure would like to buy a few TRUE M110 systems or even a rifle for $2500. I can not speak to the actual cost of the M110 factually. Can you? Most I have found online starts north of $10,000 all the way up to $24,000. All be it that is for the rifle, suppressor, scope. But even still, that rifle is more than $2500 knowing how the gov spends their coin.

                      • It's no different than Remington's prices on their M24 labeled rifle packages, nowhere near worth the price for a factory 700 in an HS stock. My money would go to G.A.P. for one of their AR10's if I was in the market for one.

                        • Are you shitting me? Find me an M110 for $2,500 and I will buy it today. Hell, find me a plain vanilla SR-25 in good shape and I will buy it for that price. This is like comparing a Yugo to a Cadillac and I own an M1A.

That's what a used SR25 was going for a few years back, they are worth no more than that if you pay more all you're buying is a name. They come with no accuracy guarantee just state that they are capable of .5 MOA if I'm shelling out more than 2k it better be guaranteed or they are fixing it till it does. Same concept with Colt way overpriced for what you get in quality. It also appears the M110 is only sold as a package with the suppressor and optics(which suck) and all the other BS in the case not worth it unless for nostalgia.
