                      I was originally looking for an original WW2 m1918a2 BAR, but they're non existent on the private market and the one I found was way out of my budget. But it did persuade me to go ahead and get my FFL/SOT.

                          Hard to say. The govt kept a ton that went overseas during the Vietnam conflict, so most never came back and what did are now pre-sample guns. They weren't sold in huge numbers to PDs like Thompsons, and they were never commercially made like the M1918 BAR.

                              Those are pretty much the biggest. A lot of M1918s were converted to A2s before and during WW2. But there were some changes in the gas system, furniture, etc etc.

                                Anyway your Thompson looks nice is it a stick mag only or will it handle the drum mags as well.
