I never really knew anything about these before these posts so I decided to read up on them. I really like the design and the grip safety. That shit is cool as hell. I might have to see if I can locate one, although I will pay for it $$$$$$. lol

It's really not. Once you squeeze it, you can't feel it really. If you are ever out this way you can shoot mine, lol.

I know it. I just picked up 2 lowers and am strongly fighting the urge to start ordering parts for them. I really have no reason to build another AR, but I would like to build one using one of these uppers:

The only thing that puts me off is the fact that you need a hex key to remove the bolt carrier, and that the same screw must also be tight as hell to avoid loosening during use. That's ultimately the consequence of a modified type upper, compared to something like an LWRC REPR. I don't think that the benefits justify too much of a price hike, but you don't pay much for the Grizzly considering it comes with a bcg.

The forged and billet are almost identical. I had both in my hands, and there is zero justification for the billet considering the quality of the forged piece.

That's not a terrible price. I'd feel better around 750-800, but I hate paying what people ask.... (I'm cheap and spent too much time in the UAE) Those people like to haggle, lol.

They are getting harder to find, but they are out there. So don't give up finding one. A good sounding board for what they are going for (which I haven't been on lately) is HKpro.com.

That is more, but it comes with a lot more stuff. Just the mags is worth the price difference. Those mags were 50 bucks a pop the last time that I bought one back in 07.
