I have a Replica 1858 Remington New Navy in 44 my wife brought home from a benefit auction. She was all kind of excited she won on a $140 dollar bid for a gun till I told her it takes longer to load it than it does shooting. I was gonna drop in a cylinder that allows for BP 44 special loads till I found out that's not recommended for brass frame pistols, now it just sits in the back of the safe.

I sent both of my saiga barrels off to King Armory in AZ to be threaded for cans. Take a 1:8" .30 cal barrel, turn it down to match krink locations, then you have to take a .223 saiga bolt, unscrew the piston, turn and machine down a correct length piston for the bolt. OR, use a Galil bolt and machine a sleeve for the bolt guide. I'm thinking a Saiga bolt would be easiest.Originally posted by kbscobravert View Post
