Back in '05 when I was in the U.K., I was waiting in line at immigration and noticed the constable near the exit carrying a G36k. He seemed to notice me looking and it looked like it made him a little uneasy. After passing through immigration, I walked that way (it was the exit, after all), and as I got near, I just said "G36k?". He said "Aye", and looked like a proud papa."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

I would be too if I got to carry one of those around.Originally posted by helosailor View PostBack in '05 when I was in the U.K., I was waiting in line at immigration and noticed the constable near the exit carrying a G36k. For those that don't know my main collection goal is to have a variant of every semi-automatic military style rifle that has ever been made available to consumers here in the USA. This is becoming an obsession.

Also this for no good reason:

Alex, I've considered picking up some HK416 iron sights for my SBR, but since the 416 has a raised rail for the recoil assembly, do those sit too low on a standard AR to use? Not sure, I assume they would work on any AR. Not many AR guys like the diopter sights, I am surprised you are keen on them.Originally posted by CJ View PostAlex, I've considered picking up some HK416 iron sights for my SBR, but since the 416 has a raised rail for the recoil assembly, do those sit too low on a standard AR to use? I never like the dovetail 100yd setting, but I like the drum on 200+. Does it have a 100yd peep on the drum?Originally posted by DOHCTR View PostNot sure, I assume they would work on any AR. Not many AR guys like the diopter sights, I am surprised you are keen on them.
I like them for simplicity and price. You can get a set for cheap. Keeps the guns clean and no bullshit."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

On the 416/MR556 the 100yd setting is not a dovetail setup, I was quite surprised really.Originally posted by CJ View PostI never like the dovetail 100yd setting, but I like the drum on 200+. Does it have a 100yd peep on the drum?

Can't sell as the gun isn't mine. It is a T&E gun.Originally posted by inline 6 View PostWanna sell? Shoot me a PM.

Sure thing, whenever I sell a gun I try to contact the person I bought it from to see if they want to buy it back first.Originally posted by inline 6 View PostGotcha, well shit.
