Keep in mind that that mp5 is a fully converted HK 94 done by Vollmer. Stock guns were much, much cheaper

Conversions today are still very expensive.

I didn't realize it was a custom conversion, I thought it was a factory HK. Why would you want one of those instead of a factory HK?

Yes. A new mp5 directly from HK defense is $1795 right now. And that is a decked out ambidextrous model. Also that is before multiunit discount.

I'm speaking in terms of money, they were still expensive as hell. Yeah that was before there were many clones for AR15's. That's about $1,500 today for a 91. That MP5 at their introductory price is $3,346 adjusted for inflation. So they have appreciated, but not a bunch. It's always pretty cool to see this.

That's really not surprising. It's easy as fuck to be $1500 deep in a new PTR-91.

Only thing I may change is cerakoting some of the stock. Looks like a lot of black in that area to me. May just keep it, really does look better in person and I couldn't be happier.

Is it a 4 position or just safe semi burst? If I had an M16 it would have to be converted to a 4 position
