Hey Motoman, you should move your rear iron sight back to the last possible slot maximize you sight radius. Also you may want to play with the position of your optic, typically with holo/prismatic sights the close to your eye it is the smaller the dot will be.

more FOV as well, that's where I like to have mine.

You know I hadn't even thought about moving my red dot or my rear sight back farther than it is. I had to move my rear sight a little ways forward whenever I first built the rifle because I didn't have room to pull the charging handle back. I've replaced the charging handle since then with one that'll allow me to pull it back with one finger on my left hand. I'll see how the sight picture is after i move it when I get home.
