Color fill

Just tried to do a color fill on the AR I duracoated HK black. Did not go very well. Gonna have to sand and re-spray. I guess using thinner or acetone works fine for unpainted guns.

Did you use paint or a crayon to do the color fill?

Paint. Crayon is next but I have to get the paint out first

I tried Testors model paint at first and had issues with it running after letting it dry and then trying to clean it up. I will say that using make up sponges didn't run nearly as bad as a towel but the paint still ran. Crayon was a whole lot easier to deal with.
