My Gf just sold her house in the same area for like .97 a sq ft. and they're getting this house in the .45 sqft price! I think I would be all over it too but they were really freaked out about it.

Did you post that right? All the houses I'm looking at are 75-100 dollars a sq ft. Are you saying that house is going for less then a dollar a sq ft?

Hell, my own house is going to go for 78-82 a sq ft.

We bought our house from an elderly widow. Her husband had passed a year or so prior to when we bought it. Haley made me talk to the neighbors to find out if he died in the house before we made an offer.

Al, where are they looking? I know where you are currently, is it in the same area? On Cimarron perhaps? If so, I know of the murder you're talking about and a teenage boy killed his entire family. I'd definitely stay the fuck away from that house...

2 - You can not tell your kids all you want. They WILL find out from neighborhood kids eventually. And they are kids, it will certainly freak them out. By the time they find out though, it will be too late.


Also, from what I understand, once you have the knowledge of someone dying in that house, you MUST disclose it to potential buyers. So you'll always have a hard time selling it.

My buddy bought a 09 Chrysler 300 srt8 with 20k that a guy committed suicide in (.45 in the mouth) for about 5k just replaced everything that had blood and what not....

They never get it completely clean. Always some DNA left behind.

Gotcha. My sister lives at the dead end of Cimarron, and there is a house a block or so from the end where a kid lost it and killed his sisters and parents IIRC. It's been for sale ever since. I'm really kind of shocked that some Middle Easterners haven't bought it yet. Then again, I don't know the price or anything.

Oh I don't know? I thought they said .97 cents per but if 97 dollars per is a normal price that is probably it. I don't know what houses cost we won't be looking for at least a few more years. Regardless it's about 1/2 price of the other houses in the area.

Actually, I'm wrong. My mom just said homicide must be disclosed. Natural and accidental death not related to the condition of the house do not. I can't find anything in TREC property code that says anything about homicide, though.
